Suppliers do not need a Kohlvex account for the current secure-response workflow.
A supplier response does not automatically close the gap. The new evidence has to pass through the normal verification process first. The secure copyable response link is the fallback if email delivery is not available.
Verified data
Documents are inputs. Verified data is the asset.
Once evidence is verified, the result should be reusable without repeatedly reopening the original supplier document.
Verified data can be exported or consumed through Kohlvex's read-only API and event webhooks. Kohlvex does not ship packaged SAP, Oracle or PLM connectors today.

About Kohlvex
Built around a problem that starts before reporting.
Kohlvex was started after seeing the same supplier-data problem repeatedly: important sustainability evidence existed, but it remained fragmented, difficult to verify and difficult to reuse.
Kohlvex is founder-led by Saikiran Kuchi, with a background spanning supply-chain management, supplier engagement, sustainability data, CBAM data workflows, procurement and planning, supply-chain documentation and practical data automation.

What does Kohlvex do?
Kohlvex turns supplier sustainability evidence into verified, provenance-backed structured data, evaluates that evidence against requirements and shows what is still missing.
Is Kohlvex a carbon accounting platform?
No. Kohlvex can ingest and verify evidence such as Product Carbon Footprint data, but it does not calculate a company's corporate Scope 1, Scope 2 or Scope 3 emissions inventory.
Does Kohlvex generate Digital Product Passports?
No. Digital Product Passport systems can be downstream consumers of trusted supplier evidence. Kohlvex focuses on the evidence layer before those outputs.
What file types can Kohlvex process?
The current product supports PDF, XLSX, CSV, DOCX and image evidence, with OCR support where required.
How does verification work?
Kohlvex combines semantic interpretation with deterministic validation and risk-based verification. High-risk, uncertain or conflicting evidence can require human review before it becomes reusable Verified Data.
What happens when documents conflict?
A genuine conflict remains visible. Kohlvex should not silently average contradictory evidence into one trusted value.
What is Verified Data?
Verified Data is reusable structured sustainability data created only after the underlying claim has passed the required verification process, with business context and source provenance retained.
What is Missing Evidence?
Missing Evidence identifies requirements that are absent or insufficient. It can explain whether the issue is missing, unverified, expired, stale, conflicting, linked to the wrong period, using the wrong unit or otherwise unsuitable.
Do suppliers need Kohlvex accounts?
Not for the current supplier-response workflow. Suppliers can respond to a scoped request through a secure link.
Does a supplier upload automatically close a requirement?
No. Supplier files re-enter the normal evidence pipeline. The requirement closes only when applicable verified evidence satisfies it.
Can Kohlvex integrate with other systems?
Kohlvex V1.2 includes a read-only API and signed webhooks. Packaged ERP and PLM connectors are roadmap or customer-specific integration work.
Is Kohlvex a legal or regulatory advisory service?
No. Kohlvex helps structure and operate supplier evidence workflows. Regulatory and legal interpretation remains with the customer's responsible teams and advisors.
Is Kohlvex enterprise-wide production proven?
Kohlvex is currently available for focused commercial pilot engagements. Broader enterprise deployment will build on pilot experience and further operational hardening.
